Bidding Adieu: Farewell Programme for Grade X at Loretto Central School

Loretto Central School organised a farewell programme for the students of Grade X Batch 2025–26 in the school auditorium. The occasion was graced by School Manager Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis, PTA Vice President Mr. Rodney Ivan D'Souza, and Vice Principal Mrs. Anitha Pais.

The programme began with a solemn prayer, setting a reflective and heartfelt tone for the evening. Students of the junior classes presented a variety of cultural performances — songs, dances, and skits — in honour of their departing seniors.

The Grade X students were felicitated and presented with mementos as a token of appreciation for their years of contribution to the school's academic and extracurricular life. The principal addressed the outgoing batch, encouraging them to carry the values of Loretto — Love, Service, and Excellence — throughout their lives.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a group photograph, leaving both teachers and students with cherished memories of their time at Loretto Central School.

Celebrating India's Glory: 77th Republic Day at Loretto Central School

Loretto Central School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great patriotism and solemnity on the school grounds. The celebration was graced by Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, Manager; Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis, Principal; Sr. Idoline Rodrigues, Headmistress, Loreto Aided Kannada Medium School; Mrs. Anitha Pais, Vice Principal; and Mr. Isaac Vas, Parish Council representative.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students dressed in tricolour attire presented a colourful march past and cultural performances highlighting the diversity and unity of India.

The principal's address emphasised the importance of civic responsibility and the sacrifices of freedom fighters. He urged students to be proud ambassadors of India's rich heritage and to contribute positively to the nation's progress.

The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets and a renewed sense of national pride among all participants.

Outstanding Performance in Karate at the National Level Open Karate Competition

Loreto English Medium CBSE High School participated in the National Level Open Karate Competition held at Father Mullers Indoor Stadium, Kankanadi. A total of 18 students from the school took part in the event.

The students performed exceptionally well in both Kata and Kumite categories, winning a total of 8 Gold Medals and 7 Silver Medals — a remarkable achievement that brought tremendous pride and honour to the school.

The school management, principal, and staff congratulated all the participating students on their outstanding performance. Special appreciation was extended to the karate coach and training staff whose guidance made this success possible.

This achievement reflects the school's commitment to nurturing not just academic excellence, but also the physical and sporting potential of every student. Loretto Central School is proud of its young champions and looks forward to even greater achievements in future competitions.
